8-Channel I2C Bi-Directional Logic Level Converter is able to convert signals from 5V down to 3.3V (and vice versa) meaning you can safely use 5V or 3.3V devices with the Raspberry Pi (compatible)

How to Use ?

In the case of translating between 3.3V and 5V system:

  •     VCCA/VA connects to 3.3V power supply
  •     VCCB/VB connects to 5V power supply
  •     GND connects to power negative pole respectively, the two power supply should be common-grounded with each other
  •     When Ax has TTL 3.3V input, Bx will get TTL 5V output
  •     When Bx has TTL 5V input, Ax will get TTL 3.3V output
  •     NO direction control required

 

Product Features for Raspberry :

  • Because Raspberry Pi is 3.3V GPIO, so take the conventional 5V sensor inconvenient. Therefore, this product to achieve 8-channel high-voltage and low-voltage logic bidirectional logic conversion, two-way conversion between Ax and Bx.
  • Conversion level range: 1.8V-6V

Instructions to 3.3V, 5V system conversion, for example :

  1.     VCCA pick Raspberry Pi 3.3V power
  2.     VCCB connect 5V power supply (may be an external 5V power supply)
  3.     GND with negative power supply, two power supply of land
  4.     Ax input Raspberry Pi 3.3V TTL level, Bx sensor module outputs 5V TTL level
  5.     Bx Input 5V TTL level electronic modules, Ax Raspberry Pi 3.3V TTL output level
